Overview

What this API returns

Find public LinkedIn profile candidates from name and company clues, then review the ranking evidence yourself.

Send one people record per known person. A full name is required; company, domain, title, location and keywords improve ranking. maxCandidates, includeEvidence and minScore control how many candidates and how much evidence are returned.

A candidate is not a confirmed identity. score is ranking evidence, confidence is a ranking band, and requiresReview is always true. Review the returned URLs and evidence before using a candidate in a downstream workflow.

Does a high score confirm the person?

No. score is deterministic ranking evidence and confidence is a ranking band. Neither is an identity guarantee, and requiresReview is always true.

What does the saved sample contain?

The saved record is a historical raw candidate with title, url and snippet. It is not the complete Dataset contract; the published response fields are listed in Reference.

Which inputs improve the ranking?

A full name is required. Company, domain, title, location and keywords add context to the public search and can improve candidate ranking.

How do I authenticate requests?

Send an Apify token as a Bearer token in the Authorization header, as shown in the request examples.

Are the results on this page live?

Not by default. Saved samples are historical recordings from the source; each keeps the fields and values from that record and does not verify current availability. Live data is requested directly from the published Apify Actor endpoint with your own token.
