Overview

What this API returns

Resolve public LinkedIn company pages to names, industries, headquarters, size, follower counts and description text.

companyUrls accepts LinkedIn company or Showcase URLs and slugs. companyNames is a best-effort exact-name resolver; for reliable bulk delivery, prefer URLs or slugs. maxCompanies caps unique inputs, and invalid or unresolved entries can reduce the number of delivered rows.

Records describe the public company page at collection time. Fields such as follower count, employee count, founded year and specialties are present only when the source exposes them, and missing values are not replaced with estimates.

FAQ

Questions about the contract

Authentication, response shape, recorded data and availability.

Are company names reliable for bulk input?

companyNames is a best-effort exact-name resolution. For reliable bulk delivery, use LinkedIn company URLs or slugs in companyUrls.

Why do some firmographic fields differ in the saved sample?

The recorded fixture keeps the public field names from that historical source. The Reference section below lists the published contract names; the saved row itself is not rewritten.

Are missing counts filled in?

No. Fields such as follower or employee counts appear when the public source supplies them. Missing values are not estimated.

How do I authenticate requests?

Send an Apify token as a Bearer token in the Authorization header, as shown in the request examples.

Are the results on this page live?

Not by default. Saved samples are historical recordings from the source; each keeps the fields and values from that record and does not verify current availability. Live data is requested directly from the published Apify Actor endpoint with your own token.

Where can I find current pricing?

Current pricing and usage terms are published on the Apify Actor page.
