Overview

What this API returns

Fetch public LinkedIn post text, author details, media and article cards, plus public reaction and comment totals.

postUrls accepts one to 1,000 public LinkedIn post URLs or numeric activity IDs. Duplicate identities are fetched once and reported at their later input positions.

Only public data is returned. engagement carries public total reactions and comments, not private audience data. A restricted, invalid or duplicate result is reported through the error object rather than a fabricated post.

They are the public totals exposed for the post. The contract does not promise private audience data or a complete engagement breakdown.

What happens to duplicate inputs?

Duplicate identities are fetched once and reported explicitly at their later input positions.

What does a restricted post return?

A restricted, invalid or duplicate result is represented through the error object. The page does not convert that into post content.

How do I authenticate requests?

Send an Apify token as a Bearer token in the Authorization header, as shown in the request examples.

Are the results on this page live?

Not by default. Saved samples are historical recordings from the source; each keeps the fields and values from that record and does not verify current availability. Live data is requested directly from the published Apify Actor endpoint with your own token.
